With urging from Ben Kincses, Larry Haemmerle recently came forward to volunteer for CRA board service and was promptly appointed to a vacant board seat. Congratulations and welcome!

Formerly of California, the "Hammer" began playing competitively in the early 1970’s and moved quickly through the divisions from novice to Open. His racquetball career has included sharing his expertise as an instructor and junior coach, as well as his work in tournament administration, as an organizer and TD.

Larry is now a retired executive who now lives in Larkspur with his wife, Avril. The couple has three children (son, Brian 36, daughter, Jody 34, son, Sean 16), two grandchildren (granddaughter, Ashley 14, grandson, Connor 8) and two golden retrievers, Sasha and Keesha. This sports enthusiast is accomplished in wrestling, swimming, soccer and bowling, and he is now a veteran and avid mountain biker - in addition to his age division racquetball pursuits.
